Man Electrocuted On Top Of Train During Protest In Tamil Nadu

A PMK(Pattali Makkal Katchi) functionary along with others were protesting the Cauvery water issue in Tamil Nadu, an issue dealing with how scarce water in the region is, when they climbed atop a train. 34-year-old Ranjith Kumar, Tindivanam town vice-president of the PMK party, was electrocuted after coming in contact with a high tension cable and was thrown off the train due to the impact of the shock. Ranjith was burned on up to 70% of his body.. on his limbs, abdomen and chest but is still alive and conscious as of right now. The water issue has been going on since 1892 but has recently gotten so bad that people in the area are running out of water entirely. The video shows two different angles.
